World Free Zones 2017 Executive Program – Module One

October 27, 2017 - October 30, 2017

The World Free Zones have partnered with the IESE Business School to provide a cutting-edge executive program for leaders in the free zone ecosystem. The program will be presented in a 16-day modular format delivered over approximately six months in four key cities around the globe – Barcelona, Shanghai, New York and Dubai. Participants will quickly gain firsthand international experience with minimal disruption to their work. In these locations, you will have the opportunity to visit best-in-class free zones and hear from top free zone innovators. The cost of the program for the 2016-2017 academic year is $15,000 for World FZO members and $18,000 for non-members. Module One will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The application deadline for the 2017 class is February 15, 2017.

World FZO to meet in Cartagena May 3-5

The World FZO has posted video showing the best moments of the 3rd Annual International Conference & Exhibition (AICE) held May 3-5 in Cartagena, Colombia..

The annual conference is the largest interactive gathering of Free Zone professionals and experts across the globe and features the world’s leading economic experts, academics, government officials, and policy makers. A hallmark of the annual meeting is the sharing of the latest research, insights and analysis of the increased relevance, importance, and impact of Free Zones on the global economic landscape. This year’s event attracted 900 worldwide attendees who exchanged ideas about developing a vision for the Free Zone of the future.

Registration included entry to the three-day conference and exhibition, including site tours, access to all keynote and panel discussions, workshop sessions, lunches, refreshments plus dinner and drinks during both the gala dinner and networking reception. Attendees also engaged with 30-plus sponsors and exhibitors who provided solutions tailored to tomorrow’s Free Zones, were inspired by sessions filled with insight on the future of Free Zones and joined in networking opportunities with the leading global Free Zones.
