Linked by Logistics: Panama and Georgia

December 4, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Panama has the “Path Between the Seas,” as one historian called it, the canal that changed the way global commerce works. Now, those logistical connections are reverberating throughout Georgia, forcing the deepening of the Port of Savannah and forging new aviation and educational connections. Global Atlanta and its sponsor, Emory Executive Education, are holding the third event in a Latin America Crossroads series, “Linked by Logistics: Panama and Georgia,” Dec. 4 in Atlanta. The series celebrates Atlanta’s role as a connecting point for the hemisphere. Panama Gateway Chairman John Wallace will represent Panama Gateway at the event.
