Juliette M. Passer is a U.S. attorney in New York City with more than 25 years of broad international transactional experience.  She has practiced law with the international law firms of Debevoise & Plimpton and Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler in New York, specializing in corporate and project finance. Other specialties include international joint venture transactions, arbitration, and e-commerce.

She is the only practicing New York attorney with an office in Panama. The main goal of her practice involving Panama is protecting American, Canadian, European and international investors in Panama. During the last 10 years she also has worked with Internet-based companies on a broad range of projects ranging from financing to licensing and domain names disputes, international business transactions, international arbitration, and general corporate representation in new media and IT.

Juliette is fluent in Russian and has a working knowledge of Ukrainian. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, served on the Boards of Directors of the Council for Trade and Economic Cooperation, was a U.S. Adviser to the Committee of Economic Development of St. Petersburg for the development of free economic zones, and participated as a U.S. expert in drafting and commenting on various legislation for several Republics of the former USSR.

Juliette holds a JD (cum laude) from Cardozo School of Law and studied Soviet Law at the Columbia University School of Law.

Before embarking on her law career, she performed as a harpist in the United States and Europe and directed numerous productions of American musicals. Juliette holds BM and MM degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, majoring in harp, conducting, and music education. She also studied at the Julliard School in New York and the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, Italy. She currently serves as music director for ES Records, Inc. and has co-produced and released three original recordings of classical and neo-classical music.

A proud holder of American citizenship since 1981, Juliette resides in New York City.
